Could China actually have 30,000 tonnes of gold in reserves?

LessThunk: This is by far the largest number we have heard about the topic. I have great respect for Alasdair Macleod and Simon Hunt, but a bit sceptical of this number.  With China’s push to establish the yuan internationally, China has big incentives to max out their gold holdings.
